Rosa Lee Taylor, 89 of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.
Rosa Lee was born on February 20, 1930 in Thayer, Kansas to the late Frances Leroy and Gertie Lula (Keller) Plotner. She married Donnall R. Taylor on July 24, 1947 in Anderson, Missouri. In her early years she hauled milk for Milnot; was a cook at the Wishing Well under the bluff in Lanagan; was an upholster, shoe cobbler and worked for American Family Homes as an inspector retiring in 2000. Rosa was a member of the Christian Church in Anderson, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donnall Taylor on November 10, 1992; a son, Robert Leroy Taylor; brother, Everett; sisters, Edna, Martha Nadeen, Ruth and Shirley (Joan).
Rosa Lee is survived by her children, Larry (Marilyn) Taylor, Richard Taylor, Donna (Larry) Cook, Kaydena Sprague and Connie Newburn all of Anderson, Missouri; sisters, , Kay Hartje of Springfield, Missouri, Mona Rae Rice of Neosho, Missouri; grandchildren, Larry Cook Jr., Steven Cook, Brandon Taylor, Justin Taylor, Richard Taylor II, Ethan Taylor, Ronald Smith, Caleb Newburn, Kathy Cook, Sheila Evans, Tamara Taylor, Melissa Dobbs, Bobbi Turner; 21 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss Rosa Lee.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Cecil Hall will officiate. Burial will follow in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. The family will receive friends at this time.
