Angie McCauley

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Angela Clarice Patterson McCauley was born September 17, 1972 in Neosho, the daughter of Jack and Janice (Woolard) Patterson. She entered into rest on June 15, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends at the age of 46.

Angie spent her childhood in Neosho and graduated from Neosho High School in 1990. She then continued her education at Crowder College, earning an Associates' degree. She relocated to Nashville, Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia, living there for eight years. She returned to Neosho and worked at the Neosho School District, coaching dance and cheer.

Angie began her love of dance at the age of five and continued that throughout her lifetime, teaching and being a mentor to numerous students. She shared her love for dance with her daughter, Gabby and took great joy in watching and supporting her at recitals and competitions.

Because of her passion to help others, she chaired the Relay for Life to raise monies for those whose lives had been impacted by this disease. To be able to continue her efforts to support the Relay for Life, she created the annual 'Showcase for a Cure', to help raise additional funds for this cause. Angie was always the first to volunteer to help with a worthy cause and made it her mission to teach her daughter to do the same.

Angie's greatest passion was her daughter, Gabby, her family and creating memories for years to come. Another of her favorite things to do was to attend the Master's Golf Tournament. Angie was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Gabrielle Christine McCauley; her parents, Jack and Janice Patterson of Neosho; two sisters, Jacyln Patterson and Toby Patterson Moore and husband, Travis, of Neosho; two nieces, Jordyn and Zoe; four nephews, Alex, Zayne, Rhys and Ty and the father of her children, Chris McCauley. She is preceded in death by her infant twin sons, Parker Jackson and Hunter Reed McCauley; maternal grandparents, Howard and Wilma Woolard and paternal grandparents, Bob and Betty Patterson.
