Katherine Payton

Katherine Marie Payton, 73, Neosho, died August 18, 2014 at Freeman West Hospital, following a sudden illness.

 Katherine was born April 5, 1941 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzle, watching the hummingbirds and going to hootenannies. 

Katherine and Leroy Payton were married on July 6, 1960 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2003. She is survived by four sons, Rickey Payton, Mark Payton, Jerry Payton and Jason Payton; three sisters, Shirley Payton, Marjorie Harris and Ruthie Ragland; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
