Ruby McReynolds

Ruby Mae McReynolds, 93, Seneca, died Aug. 8, 2014 in Neosho, following a short illness. 

Ruby was born June 17, 1921 in Racine, Missouri, the daughter of Elijah and Etta (Fisher) Burkhart. She was a lifelong resident of Seneca and Racine and was a homemaker. Ruby loved to sing and play guitar, she enjoyed tea parties and the Chicago Cubs. She was a member of the Church of Christ. 

Ruby and Ray McReynolds were married on May 22, 1937 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1984. She is survived by five children, Shirley Daugherty and husband, Ted, Neosho; Judy Martin and husband, Bobby, Seneca; Marcia Prater and husband, Larry, Wyandotte, OK; Larry McReynolds and wife, Gayla, Neosho and Galen McReynolds, Seneca; 17 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Janice Fisher and Karen Murray; a great grandson, Nathan Daugherty; three sisters and three brothers.
