Mary Louise Van Slyke, 88, of Fair Grove, Missouri entered into rest on August 16, 2014.
She was born August 3, 1926 in Granby, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ernest and Zola Mae (Chase) Smith.
Mary and Johnnie Van Slyke were married on December 24, 1941 in Neosho, Missouri and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, William Joseph. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Chaves of Springfield, MO and Patricia and husband, Victor Mungary of Ventura, California and one son, John and wife, Teresa Van Slyke of Fair Grove, Missouri; one sister, Betty Sowder of West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws.
