Veva M. 'Deanie' Hymer, age 91, Joplin, passed away at 6:55 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at National Health Care.
Deanie was born October 2, 1927 in Joplin to the late Loren Harley Drake and Tressa Mae Robertson Drake and had lived in the area all of her life.
She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Deanie was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hymer in 1999.
Survivors include a daughter, Bobbi Fahrig and husband, Tom, Joplin; a son, Carie Michael Hymer, Fresno, California; one brother, Bob Drake, Joplin; and one grandson.
Services are planned for Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Randy Corp will officiate. Private Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
