(From Clark Funeral Home)Lucille Crawford was born on December 31, 1923 in Granby, Missouri, the daughter of Gearl L. and Celia (Charlton) Long. She entered into rest on February 10, 2022 at her home in Neosho at the age of 98.
Lucille was a lifelong area resident and had worked in the food service department of the R-5 School System; at Kraft Foods for 33 years and after her retirement, she did private housekeeping. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and cooking.
Lucille is survived by her five children, Charles (Ruth) Crawford of Neosho, Jack (Paulette) Crawford of Blue Springs, Missouri, Rick (Carol) Crawford of Rockwell, Texas, Debbie (Bill) Ralston of Neosho and Dede (Richard) Strong of Willard, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Greg Crawford, Paul (Angie) Crawford, Kellie (Kevin) Fortner, Jennifer (Vic) Johnson, Sandy (Mike) Rupp, Ricky (Krystal) Crawford, Ryan (Tanya) Crawford, Mark (Slone) Crawford, Jason (Danielle) Crawford and Philip (Meagan) Strong; twenty-three great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren and two sisters, Francis (Hubert) Croslin of Mesquite, Texas and Donna (Dale) Marion of Neosho.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Melba Witek; two brothers, Wilbur Long and Raydene Long; an infant granddaughter, Leslie Crawford and infant great granddaughter, Kayla Nicole.
