(From Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home)Donnie Lee Sullivan, 80, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Don was born on August 20, 1942 in Verona, Missouri to the late Lindsey Dale and Anna Mae (Pendleton) Sullivan. He began preaching in 1954 at the age of twelve and continued to do so until his passing. Don married Barbara Scott on December 22, 1961. They were lifelong companions and were blessed with five children, Scott, Lori, Lisa, Christina and husband, Gary, and Crystal.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Anna; two sisters, Dalene (Pat) and Carol; and his son, Scott.
Don is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; four daughters, Lori, Lisa and husband, Jerry, Christina and husband, Gary, and Crystal and husband Jose; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Ryan, Lucas, Gabrielle, Lynsey, Craig, Garrison and Africa; one great-granddaughter, Addyson; and daughter-in-law, Connie.
Don will be remembered as a man who put God and his family first, loved and served his community, and always had an uplifting word in the darkest of times. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Freedom Christian Church with Moses Martinez officiating.
