(From Knell Mortuary)Gary Ray Danner, 42, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023.
Gary was born March 22, 1980, in Carthage, Missouri, the son of Gary Lee Danner and Goldie Irene (Pinkley) Danner. He was a 1998 graduate of Carthage High School. Gary worked for CCC Cattle Company.
He married Ladawna Rainey on June 4, 2022, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Gary loved hunting, especially coon hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. Gary enjoyed rodeoing, but his most treasured time was watching and helping his children with their rodeoing.
Survivors include his wife, Ladawna; his parents, Gary and Goldie Danner; nine sons, Braxton Danner, Bristol Danner, Brody Danner, Beckett Danner, Brindle Danner, Alex Rainey, Ryan Rainey, Justin Rainey, and Gunner Rainey; four daughters, Berkley Danner, Holly Rainey, Caitlyn Rainey, and Makenzie Rainey, and one on the way, Bexley Danner; a brother, Mike Danner (Katrina); a sister, Gina Browder (Ronnie); seven grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Grace Pinkley, and Howard and Lucille Danner.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Monday, March 13, 2023, at Risen Ranch Cowboy Church, Carthage. Gary’s favorite color was purple, so the family encourages everyone to wear purple for the service. The burial will follow at Reeds Cemetery, Reeds, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm, Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
