Barbara Bradford

Barbara Danielle Smith-Bradford, age 42, Iola, KS, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in Wichita, Kansas.

Barbara was born on April 30, 1981, to Kathryn Jean Cash, who proceeded her in eternal rest on August 5, 2021. She graduated from Wichita North High School and later moved to Iola, Kansas where she had been employed as a shift manager at McDonald's. 

She loved spending time with her fur babies, Gizmo and Chaos. She was known for always being genuine, helpful, and loyal to a fault. She always greeted people with a smile and showed kindness to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Self and husband Bill of Carthage, Mo. She had 3 brothers in Kansas including William Glander, Randall Smith and wife Shirley, and Frank Smith. She is also survived by her father, Robert Bradford and wife Janet, and stepsister Misty Bradford, all from Joplin. She also had many nephews and nieces.

Barbara has been taken for cremation with a Celebration of Life to be planned for a later date in Iola and Wichita, Kansas and Joplin, Mo.
