Carolyn Maxine Boyd, age 68, of Fairview, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at her home.
She was born August 30, 1949 in Barry County, Missouri the daughter of James William and Danna Ruth (Burton) Stewart. On October 11, 1968 she was united in marriage to Jackie Boyd, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Jackie Boyd, Jr. of Noel, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Dawn Fisher of Fairview, Missouri; four brothers, Truman Stewart of Cassville, Missouri, Johnny Stewart of Dallas, Texas, Billy Stewart of Granby, Missouri and Allan Stewart of Wentworth, Missouri; two sisters, Nancy Tyler of Diamond, Missouri and Kathryn Kamler of Columbia, Missouri; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Carolyn received her education at Diamond, Missouri where she graduated from high school. Most of her life was spent in Barry County. For twenty-one years she was employed in quality control at Tyson’s. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Concord Cemetery in Exeter, Missouri, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton, Missouri. Jamie Cope will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Sunday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
