Dale H. Kime age 65 of Webb City passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born on July 10, 1952 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Jack Kime and Faye (Endicott) Kime. Dale was a grocery store manager for most of his life and a faithful member of the Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin. Dale loved the Lord with all his heart and spread the Word at every opportunity. Dale was a devout student of the gospel and had read the Bible many times over. He also served Elks Lodge 501 for over 17 years and was a past Exalted Ruler. Dale’s grandchildren were the light of his life, and he spent time with them at every opportunity. A faithful Christian, beloved father and grandfather, and devoted husband, Dale’s presence here will be sorely missed.
He married Bonnie (Johnston) Kime on February 14, 1997 and she survives him. Dale is also survived by his daughter, Kerri Kime and husband Quinton Ford of Glencoe, Missouri; step-son, Jason Allen and wife Heather of Webb City; grandchildren, Sam Sanders, Madison Allen, Tyler Allen, Avrie Allen, Davy Ford; brother, Warren Kime of Wichita, Kansas; and a sister, Diana Stout of Pittsburg, Kansas. He was preceded in death by a son, David Kime, and a brother, Lynn Kime.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. The family will be present for visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
