Charlsie Ann Daugherty, age 74 of Joplin, Mo., passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Charlsie was born on August 7, 1943 in San Francisco, Ca., the daughter of Lawrence and Dora (Woolsey) Pitts. She has been an area resident for many years, moving to the area in 1943. Charlsie spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a member of the LifePoint Pentecostal Church in Joplin.
She married Michael Daugherty on February 7, 2004, he survives. Additional survivors include two step-sons; Herbert Walker and wife Falon of Diamond, Mo., William Jenkins and wife Angela of Oronogo, Mo., two step-daughters; Melissa Blackburn and husband Timothy of Jasper, Mo., Christi Corn and husband Philip of Seligman, Mo., one sister; Mary Smith of Joplin, her niece; Gina Hendrix, and ten grandchildren.
Services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at LifePoint Pentecostal Church. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
