Betty A. Mize, 76, of Lamar, MO passed away at Truman Health Center on Thursday April 16, 2020. She was born in St Francis, KS in 1943 to Charles and Lillie (Owens) Garner.
Betty owned a Century 21 real estate office, was a hospital administrator and proudly achieved her MBA, later in her life.
She is survived by her son Wes (Tami) Daubert of Payton, CO and her sister Sheryl Lee of Lamar, MO.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, and her daughter Debbie Spratlen.
Interment will be at the Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery where she will be interred with her husband, W. Leonard Mize Sr. Public services are not planned at this time.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.
In an effort to make everyone more comfortable during this time of social distancing, the memorial book, for signing will be place outside under the covered drive on the north side of the funeral home from 9 am to 5 pm. It will also be inside of the building. Please bring a pen.
