Terry Clarkson

Terry Ray Clarkson, 58, of Granby, MO was born March 23, 1962 and entered into rest April 16, 2020.

Terry is survived by his daughter, Cheyenne Clarkson; son, Ray Hailey and wife, Lynette; and grandchildren, Dylan, Hannah, and Madison; his stepfather, Lonnie Gray and wife, Dianna; stepmother, Virginia Hayes; stepmother, Peggy Clarkson; four siblings, Tracey Clarkson and wife, Sandra, Renee Clarkson-Hobbs, Jamie Clarkson-Jennings and husband, Dan, and Brian Gray; and several step brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members. 

Terry is preceded in death by his stepdaughters, Sheila and Camie Hailey; father, Kenneth Hayes; mother, Sharon Caviness-Gray; stepfather, Jim Clarkson; maternal and paternal grandparents; and other extended family members.

Terry was a kind, generous soul who constantly gave of himself and his time to help others. He deeply enjoyed people and cherished every person he knew like they were family. Because of his genuine interest in others, Terry had many friends and was well thought of in the community. He spent many years as a brick mason and continued working on a part time basis after obtaining his teaching degree. 








Terry worked as an industrial instructor at Crowder College, where he relished his role as an educator and mentor. Terry enjoyed many things including sports, the lake, practicing and teaching Karate, snow skiing, coaching community ball, attending concerts and OU football games, and seeing as many people a day as he could. He loved every aspect of life and lived every day to its fullest with a beaming smile and a caring heart.

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn for Terry. He will be forever precious and tremendously missed in all our hearts.

Graveside services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Neosho IOOF Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday, May 7 from 10 am until 5 pm and Friday, May 8 from 9 am until 3 pm at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
