Jerry Warman

Jerry Lee Warman, age 81 of Joplin, MO., passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Freeman Hospital following a sudden illness.

Jerry was born on March 20, 1939 in Carthage, MO., the son of Wilbur and Lorene (Box) Warman. Jerry proudly served his country as part of the U.S. Army. Following his service, he started Warman’s Lawn Service. Jerry was a member of Faith Center Church in Glendale, CA.

He married Phyllis Bressee on December 31, 1960 in Miami, OK., she survives.








Additional survivors include his brother; Mike Warman of Webb City, MO., a nephew; Bryan Warman, a step-son; Larry Warman of Mississippi, and many loving friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother, David Warman.

A private family service has been scheduled at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. The service will be available to view via live stream at www.masonwoodard.com at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

Jerry will lie in state from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. However, to abide by the mandates from the CDC and the State of Missouri only ten people are allowed in our facility at one time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
