Sibyl Jean (Boyce) Link age 65 of Webb City, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at the Medical Lodge in Neosho.
She was born in Webb City, Missouri to Earl L. Boyce and Birdena E. (Taylor) Boyce on June 7, 1954. She graduated high school in Williamsburg, Kansas in the class of 1972. Sybil worked as the accounting clerk for Ben R. Brown Trucking, Inc. of Carl Junction, Missouri since 2010, until she fell ill in November 2019. She loved and respected the trucking industry and enjoyed her time working there. She never missed a day of work and she was very close with her work family.
Sybil was an active member of the Webb City Elks Lodge #861, where she spent the majority of her time there with her close friends. Sibyl was very loyal, compassionate and dedicated. She always had the kindest, biggest heart and most infectious laugh. She loved giving to local charities and to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Sibyl was a great friend and touched many lives.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristina Stewart and husband Justin of Neosho, Missouri; a son, Eric Bishop and girlfriend Melissa Brand of Ottawa, Kansas; grandchildren, Derrick Matheny, Hayle Matheny, Gabriel Stewart, Joshua Stewart, Pandora Brand, Lucas Brand; and a great grandchild, Iris Brand.
Sibyl was preceded in death by her sister, Gay Marie Forth and her parents. Per her wishes, she was cremated and a private family burial will take place at a later date at Weaver Cemetery in Oronogo, Missouri. The family requests in lieu of flowers, to make a donation in her name to the American Brain Tumor Association.
