Martha Jane Schibi went to be with her parents on April 14, 2020 following a sudden illness at the age of 72.
Martha was born April 17, 1947 in Perry, Iowa, the daughter of Billie Edward and Dorothy Mae (Ludwick) Bender. She moved to the Neosho area in 1981 from Albany, Missouri.
Martha was a homemaker and provided childcare in her home. Her glory days were spending time with her children and grandchildren, watching them play sports and playing Yahtzee, Uno and Skip-Bo card games with them. She loved quilting, Facebook, M&M’s, April the Giraffe, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cardinals and the Chiefs. She enjoyed making surprise calls to her family, was a great multi tasker and her home was her kingdom.
Martha met her husband, Joe at NW Missouri State on a blind date and they were married on June 1, 1968 in Maryville, Missouri and shared 53 years together.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; four children, Missy (Rich) Brunetto of Neosho, Missouri, Kristie (Gary) Graham of Fairland, Oklahoma, Brian (Angela) Schibi of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and David Schibi; eleven grandchildren, Ebby Green, Madison Kane, Joey Graham, Ryan Graham, Trevor Graham, Tyler Graham, Olivia Schibi, Sam Schibi, Kiara Schibi, Kaylee Schibi and Kaden Schibi; one brother, Roger Lee Bender of Bondurant, Iowa and many extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends during viewing on Saturday, April 18th from 10-2pm and Sunday, April 19th from 12-4pm. Interment service will be at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, April 20th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Martha may be made to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
