Elmer Harvey Allen age 94 of Siloam Springs, Arkansas (formerly of Webb City, Missouri) passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. He was born on March 9, 1926 in Carthage, Missouri to Ben H. Allen and Pearl E. (Dykes) Allen.
Elmer was a welder and a pastor for over 40 years, and a United States Navy Veteran having served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Allen on May 5, 2007. Elmer was also preceded in death by 3 sons, William Allen, Phillip Allen, and Dwayne Allen.
He is survived by his children, Judy Batalia and husband Art of Gentry, Arkansas, Mary Krause and husband Mark of Paw Paw, Michigan, Ann Hager and husband Dan of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Marilyne Edwards of Alma, Arkansas; 25 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren; and 18 great great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Doylene Allen of Gentry, Arkansas.
Friends and family may come by Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City on Monday, May 4, 2020 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM for viewing.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Fullerton Cemetery with military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in his memory to the Church of God Holiness in Joplin, Missouri.
