Cecil Lynn Bench of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 41.
Cecil was born October 14, 1978 in Miami, OK to Steven and Brenda (Mahurin) Bench. He had lived in the Picher and Quapaw area most of his life. He was a 1997 graduate of Picher-Cardin High School.
Cecil had worked for Jayhawk Fine Chemicals in Riverton, KS. He loved fishing, hunting and taxidermy.
Cecil was preceded in death by his wife Misty Bench on December 30, 2015. He was also preceded by his parents.
Cecil is survived by 4 sons, Steven Bench and his fiancé Montana Wittenmyer of Joplin, MO, Clayton Bench , Tyler Bench and Gaven Bench all of Quapaw, OK, his sister, Karrie Mueggenberg and her husband Steven of Carl Junction, MO, his sister-in-law, Amber Chandler and her husband Craig of Joplin, MO and 1 grandson, Kamden Bench.
Private graveside services will be held. Cecil will lie in state at Paul Thomas Funeral Home in Miami, OK from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Wednesday (April 29) and Thursday (April 30) for family and friends to pay their respects and sign the register book.
