Mr. Sitton was born February 22, 1947 in Lamar. He graduated from Webb City High School in 1965 and had a career as a salesman. He and his wife moved to Las Vegas in 1995.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mildred Sitton, and his wife, Debbie. He is survived by two sisters, Bonnie Weston and Patsy Summers of Joplin.
Private services were conducted in Las Vegas by Sunrise Cremations, with ashes scattered at Mount Charleston.
