Raymond Austin Severs was born on December 21, 1933 in Stella, Missouri, one of six children to George and Opal (East). He entered into rest on April 28, 2020 at Medicalodge, Neosho at the age of 86.
Raymond graduated from Stella High School in 1951. He was a self-employed carpenter and masonry and worked in the Missouri Conservation Department. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting and watching sports.
Raymond is survived by his five children, Rayma Pilkenton, Neosho, Randy Severs and wife Misty, Granby, Missouri, Roland Severs and wife Shaun, Stella, Missouri, Regina Suzette Farley, Stella, Missouri, and Raymond Severs Jr, Webb City, Missouri. Also surviving are one brother Curtis Severs, Aurora Missouri, one sister Ava Banks, Claremore, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Alma Raines, and two brothers, Donnie and Everett Severs.
Raymond will be cremated per his request, no services planned at this time.
