Brenda Jean Taylor known more as “Red” age 78 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 03, 2020.
She was born in Joplin, Missouri on April 21, 1942 to Horace F. Lawrance, Jr. and Virginia E. (Riggs) Lawrance. Brenda was the owner of Brenda’s Pump and Pantry in Lockwood, Missouri.
She was a caring and devoted to all she knew. Her children were her life and all her grandchildren were her playground. The love she possessed for her family and the strength and courage she brought to all around her, we could all only hope to follow her example. Brenda will be sorely missed in person but she will forever be loved in spirit.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Lewis and wife Jackie of Carl Junction, Robert Lewis and wife LaNetta of Beaufort, South Carolina, Jimmy Lewis of Stella, Missouri; a daughter, Brandi McReynolds and husband Larry of Carl Junction; brothers, Howard Lawrance and wife Ruth Ann of Carl Junction, Steve Lawrance and wife Doris of Galena, Kansas; sisters, Nancy Duncan of Boulder, Colorado, Beverly Windstock and husband Ron of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Junior Taylor.
Friends and family may come by Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City on Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:30 PM for viewing. A graveside will be private for the family.
