Cheryl Ann Sage, of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Monday, June 1, 2020, in the Dade County Nursing Home at the age of 79.
She was born on January 7, 1941 in Hudsonville, MI to Dewey and Eunice Schinabarger. Cheryl graduated from Hudsonville High School in 1958. She completed cosmetology school in Grand Rapids, MI in 1960. Cheryl was united in marriage to Russell L. Sage in 1985. She had worked as a cosmetologist, and was a wonderful homemaker.
Cheryl also managed a deli in Zeland, MI for 10 years. She had a passion for cooking and baking. Cheryl would read cookbooks for hours. She enjoyed knitting, and loved to send cards to people. Cheryl was a member of the F-100 Ford Truck Club from 2000 to 2019, and a member of the Lockwood American Legion Post #372 Auxiliary since 1998. She was also a member of the American Red Cross, and enjoyed helping with the blood mobile in Lockwood. Cheryl could often been seen dining out at Backwoods Café with her friends and loved ones.
Survivors include her husband, Russell “Russ” Sage; two step-children, Shelley Sage and Brian Sage; one brother, John Schinabarger; three step-grandchildren; and three nieces, Krista, Holly, and Sarah.
