(From Parker Mortuary)Anna Belle Reineke, age 92, Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Freeman West Hospital.
Anna was born March 20, 1928 in St. Joe, Arkansas, daughter of the late George Hudspeth and Alma Burns Hudspeth.
She worked for years with her husband, Robert Reineke, operating several local fast food restaurants in the Joplin area including AAA on S. Rangeline, Cheatum's, and the Villa Motel restaurant on 7th Street. She was of the Christian Faith, belonging to First Christian for years, and most recently Royal Heights Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Reineke who passed in 1985; three children, Dale Creekmore, Glen Reineke, and Phil Martin; brothers, Gene Hudspeth and R.G. Hudspeth.
Survivors include a son, Don Reineke of Lynnwood, Washington; daughter, Dana Huckstep and husband Mike of Joplin; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Curry and husband Gene of Carthage, and Alma June West of Springfield, Missouri; brother, Alfred Hudspeth and wife Linda of Harrison, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in Stone Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Monday from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m.
