(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Lyndon Scott Bicknell, 57, passed away at his home in Joplin, MO, on Wednesday, Nov. 4th, 2020.
He was born on January 30, 1963, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Ray Bicknell and Linda McGown-Bicknell.
Scott is survived by his father Ray of Pittsburg; two brothers Sheldon Bicknell (& wife Jamie) of Arma, KS, and Wade McGown (& wife Michele) of San Diego, CA.
He was preceded in death by his mother Linda of Joplin, stepmom Judy Bicknell of Pittsburg, and stepdad Jerry McGown of Springdale, AR.
He attended grade schools in Pittsburg and McCune, KS, graduated from high school in 1981 from Girard, KS, and college in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pittsburg State University. We will miss his great sense of humor, constant smiling face, caring attitude, and love for family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Rumors Lounge located at 1825 W. 7th St, in Joplin on Saturday, Dec. 19th at 12:00 PM.
