(From Clark Funeral Home)Barbara Jean Walker, 59, Joplin, MO, entered into rest November 30, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Barbara was born May 1, 1961 in Neosho, MO to Norma June (Hopwood) and John Walker. She worked for the Pittsburg, KS school system in their ordering department.
Barbara was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Neosho. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her grandchildren and other family members, sewing, crafting, cooking, and having “Girls Day Out” with her sisters.
Barbara is survived by her son, Aaron Jackson and wife, Carla of Granby, MO; three brothers, Ronnie Walker and wife, Sandy of Mineral Wells, TX, Kevin Rea of Neosho and Patrick Rea and wife, Brenda, also of Neosho; four sisters, Joyce Jordan and husband, Calvin of Newtonia, MO, Nancy Goddard and husband, Shelton of Miami, OK, Karen Clark and husband, Corby of Goodman, MO and Lynette Vance of Joplin, MO; one grandchild; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Nicole Jackson; and one son, Bruce Jacob Jackson.
