Patsy Norris

Patsy Ann (Pat) Norris, 86, of Columbus, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on December 6, 2020 in Columbus, Kansas. She was born December 12, 1933 in Galena, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Mary Ann (Stone) Larison. 

Patsy was a graduate of Riverton High School and a member of the Columbus First United Methodist Church.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and “nana”. She married Charles Norris on May 6, 1956 in Columbus, Kansas. They worked side by side in the grocery business for over 40 years at several locations ultimately becoming co-owners and operators of Charlie’s IGA. She loved spending time with family and friends and attending activities of her grandkids and great grandkids.

Survivors include husband; Charlie Norris of Columbus, Cindy (Bob) Ellis of Oronogo, MO, Melanie Kalar of Columbus, KS, Michelle Phelps of Columbus, KS, grandchildren; Brian Ellis, Kansas City, MO, Lindsay (Shaun) Kloer, Oronogo, MO, Ali (Devin) Martinez, Joplin, MO, and great grandchildren, Olivia, Drew, Grace Kloer and Kain Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Mary Ann Larison and son-in-laws David Kalar and Brian Phelps.

A Graveside service will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Columbus Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests, donations be made to REViVE Hope for Health (formerly Brian Phelps Memorial Foundation) or Columbus First United Methodist Church. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to the funeral home. Condolences may be left at our website www.bathnaylor.com.
