Deloris Graves

Mrs. Deloris Lee Graves, 87, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, Missouri.

Deloris entered this life on May 9, 1933 in Shiedler, Indiana to the union of the late John C. and Ethel Laura (Ballard) McDaniel. 

On December 12, 1949 she was united in marriage to Eugene Richard Graves, together they shared thirty years until his passing in 1979. 








For several years she worked as a CNA in nursing homes as well as helping Pam with her day care. She was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed raising her children, box puzzles and word search books and her coffee. Deloris loved her family and will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, children, Linda Graves, Debra Graves, and Joseph Graves; all her siblings and their spouses.

Deloris is survived by her children, Ronnie Graves of Carthage, Missouri, Richard Graves (Diana) of Texarkana, Texas, Brenda Parker (Dave) of Sarcoxie, and Pamela Millard (Ron) also of Sarcoxie; grandchildren, Kevin Shafer (Bernita), Kelli Powers (Jeff), Brandy Blunkall (Brian), Bobby Parker, D.J. Parker, Ashley Parker, Heather Graves, Ronnie Graves, Crystal Cross (Adam), Jonathan Graves, Kristina Graves (Curklynn), Mathew Graves (Mattie), Natasha Ruth, Ronnie Legrand, Zachery Millard and Tiana Burnside (Daniel); twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Graves are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Housh-Goodwin Funeral Home in Sarcoxie, Missouri with Pastor Jim Stuart officiating. Burial will follow at Curtis Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Zach Millard, D.J. Parker, Bobby Parker, Kevin Shafer, Ron Graves and Coby Shafer.
