Jeannette Webley

(From Parker Mortuary)

Jeannette Webley was called home suddenly but peacefully in the early morning hours of February 8, 2023. Born in San Jose, California to Fred Rule and Nellie Rule (nee Jewell) on September 25, 1960, Jeannette spent 62 years paving many paths through this life.

After attending Garden Grove High School, she began her relentlessly free-spirited journey that included countless experiences and travels. Ultimately in 2000, she landed in the Joplin, Mo area where she found peace and comfort for the past eight years with her loving partner, David Oliver.

Though a Christian, she was THE eternal witchy woman who had a raging (and sometimes hilariously inappropriate) sense of humor that could make even the most stoic of souls laugh. Jeannette loved much about life including socializing, music, dancing, and singing. Ever the extrovert, she cultivated many relationships in her time on earth where she never met a stranger…never.

She is preceded in death by her parents, whom she loved dearly, Fred and Nellie Rule. She is survived by many, including three children, Jennifer Tresemer, Linda Tresemer, and David Tresemer; her supportive, loving partner, David Oliver, and his children, including Ashley with whom she grew particularly close; her two brothers and their families, Richard Rule, and Danny Rule; as well as countless friends and loved ones.

Mark 5:34: “He said to her, ‘Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.’” In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to The City of Hope, Duarte, CA. Giving Opportunities and Fundraising | City of Hope

Family and friends will have a private gathering to celebrate her life.
