Meredith Yenzer

Meredith Jane Yenzer, age 56, of Joplin, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Joplin.

Meredith, daughter of Allen “Jack” Hooker and Nancy (Reynolds) Windle, was born on December 31, 1966, in Joplin. She was a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a mother of three surviving children, Jared Yenzer, and his wife, Hailey, of Joplin, Cael Yenzer, of Colorado, and Keira Yenzer, of Joplin. 

Also surviving, her mother, Nancy Windle, of Joplin, her stepbrother, Brett Windle, of Kansas and stepsister Caren Pearson, and her husband Charles, of Kansas, as well as several extended family members and friends. Meredith was preceded in death by her father, Allen “Jack” Hooker; and her stepfather, Jim Windle.

Private family services were held in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
