J. W. Kyle

James William (J.W.) Kyle, age 65, of Marionville, Missouri, passed away at 9:19 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Sonshine Manor in Republic, Missouri. J.W. was born June 13, 1957, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of James Lawrence and Maybelle Susanne (Campbell) Kyle.

J.W. was a 1975 graduate of Marionville High School and received his Bachelors’ Degree in Agriculture from Southwest Missouri State University, in Springfield, Missouri. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Mt. Vernon and both the Guernsey Breeders and Ayrshire Breeders Associations. 








He was an avid chess player and he loved rodeos, farming and being a “Bovine Cosmetologist”. He was a devout fan of the Green Bay Packers and he enjoyed watching Alabama, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and MIZZOU sports. He had the ability to pick up and play almost any musical instrument and he loved to sing and dance, especially the Cotton-eyed Joe.

J.W. is survived by his mother, Maybelle Susanne Kyle of Bradenton, Florida; five children, James Matthew Kyle and his former wife, Patty, of Monett, Missouri and their 4 sons; Bryan L. Kyle and his wife, Melissa, of Crane, Missouri and their 7 children and 3 grandchildren; Rafe R. Kyle and his wife, Ashley, of Aurora, Missouri and their 3 children; Kara L. Mackey and her husband, Brandon, of Lamar, Missouri and Layne R. Kyle of Crane, Missouri and his 2 sons; two brothers, Robert Kyle and his wife, Rhonda, of Butler, Missouri and their children and John Kyle of Crane, Missouri and his daughter; three sisters, Becky Loper of Aurora, Missouri and her children, Beth Carl of Bradenton, Florida and her daughter and Beverly Fugate and her husband, Michael, of Marionville, Missouri and their children.








J.W. was preceded in death by his father, James L. Kyle, his sister, Deborah Ann Kyle, his grandfather, William C. Kyle and his grandmother, Ola L. (Lester) Kyle.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, with visitation to follow from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri. Burial will be held at a later date at the Marionville IOOF Cemetery next to his sister.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made directly to the Marionville FFA chapter or the Sonshine Manor in Republic, Missouri.
