(From Weng Funeral Chapel)Gary Dean Wolf (69), of Red Oak, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday February 8th, 2023 at his home. Gary was born on March 15, 1953 in Carthage, Missouri, the son of John Dean and Dorothy Madge Wolf.
Gary graduated from Miller High School in 1971. He received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1975 and his Master of Education in Agriculture in 1981 from University of Missouri-Columbia.
He taught vocational agriculture at Miller High School prior to returning to the family farm. He was a cattleman and grain farmer, and known fondly in the community as Neighbor Wolf. Gary was a past president of the Missouri Young Farmers Association. Gary served on the Miller Board of Education and had served as a board member of the Produce Exchange, Golden City, Missouri.
Gary was united in marriage to Dixie Duncan on April 9, 1977, in Golden City, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie, and his three daughters Ashley (Brandon) Davis of Joplin, Missouri, Dr. Haley Wolf of Lockwood, Missouri and Shelley (Joe) Engle of LaRussell, Missouri. He is survived by grandsons Braxton Davis, Garrison Davis, and JJ Engle, and granddaughter Presley Engle. He is also survived by a sister, Janet (Les) Lafon, of Carthage, Missouri, two brothers-in-law Terry (Joyce) Duncan and Keith (Cynthia) Duncan, both of Golden City, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 from 5pm to 6pm at Weng Funeral Chapel in Jasper, Missouri. A celebration of life will follow at 6pm. Final resting place will be at Red Oak Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Oak Cemetery Association or First Presbyterian Church in Golden City, Missouri.
