(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Elizabeth “Liz” Loyd, age 87, of Rogers, Arkansas formerly of Joplin, Missouri passed away Friday February 24, 2023.
She was born July 24, 1935, in Joplin, Missouri to Edwin and Gwen (Tabor) Kerley.
Elizabeth worked as an office manager for Jim Talbot DDS. She enjoyed being a member of the Red Hats Society Club. She attended the Cowboy Church and Diamond First Baptist Church.
She married Charles “Slick” Loyd, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2018. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Vicki Reinhart Loyd.
Elizabeth is survived by three sons, Mike Loyd and wife Laura, John Loyd and wife Shelley, and Phillip Loyd; one brother Buddy Kerley and wife Patricia, as well as numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday March 3, 2023, at Diamond First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Diamond Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
