(From Clark Funeral Home)Danny Lee Sawyers, Carthage, Missouri, entered into rest on February 19, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Carthage at the age of 51. Danny was born February 17, 1972 in Joplin, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident.
He had worked as a welder at Miracle Toy Manufacturing in Monett, Missouri and currently worked as a delivery driver for Coca-Cola. He currently was in the process of restoring a pick-up for his son and enjoyed working on it.
Danny is survived by two children, Haley George of Carthage and Bradley Sawyers of Pierce City; his mother, Margie Sue Hemen of Bentonville, Arkansas; two sisters, Paula Matters of Bentonville, Arkansas and Barbara Matters of Illinois and a brother, William Sawyers of Bentonville, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Sawyers, Sr. and brother, Richard Sawyers, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023 from 3 pm to 5 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho. Following the visitation, Danny will be taken for cremation.
