(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Arlyne Marie Pugh, 95 of Baxter Springs, KS passed from this life on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Freeman Hospital, Joplin, MO.
Arlyne was born April 27, 1927 in Weehawken, NJ to the union of Edwin Christian Albert Brust and Helen Vera (Osmers) Brust.
Arlyne was united in marriage to Harold Lee Pugh on May 12, 1946 in Union City, NJ.
Throughout Arlyne’s life she was a homemaker caring and loving for her family and friends. Arlyne enjoyed embroidery and sewing various clothing items, blankets, and pillows for her family.
Arlyne is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Helen Brust; husband, Harold Pugh; son, John Lee Pugh; brother, Edwin C. Brust; son-in-law, Rex Dean Hopkins.
Arlyne is survived by two sons, Harold E. Pugh of Baxter Springs, KS, and William H. Pugh and wife Teri Dawn of Diamond, MO; daughter, Barbara Ann Hopkins of Miami, OK; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023 at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel. Burial will follow in the Lowell Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service on Friday at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.
