Walter Kingsbury

Walter Bruce Kingsbury, 63, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Monday February 13, 2023, at his home. Walter was born on June 22, 1959, in Carthage, the son of the late John and Irene (Spurgeon) Kingsbury. He was a 1978 graduate of Carthage High School. 

He worked for Leggett and Platt at the Steadley plant for over 20 years until his retirement. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to rock and roll music, and spending time with family, especially his granddaughters, who were his whole world. It became a daily routine that he would watch SpongeBob with them.

Survivors include a son, Dustin Kingsbury (Tara); two brothers, Jeff Kingsbury, and Tony Kingsbury; two sisters, Linda Kingsbury, and Lydia Kingsbury-Berg; and two granddaughters, Kylenne “Kay” and Khloey Kingsbury.
