(From Royer's New Salem Funeral Home)Dale Deen Craig, 84, passed away in Independence, MO on February 10, 2023. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Cemetery in Independence.
Dale was born October 1, 1938 in Carl Junction, MO to Floyd and Gertrude (Ellison) Craig.
Professionally, Dale worked on the assembly line for 31 years at Ford Motor Company and retired in 1993.
He enjoyed fishing and driving around the neighborhood. Dale kept busy by going to all of his grandchildren's activities and spending time with them. His life was dedicated to taking care of his family.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Rovella, of 57 years who passed away in 2015; granddaughter, Rachelle; 2 brothers: Floyd Craig and Richard Craig.
Dale is survived by his children: David (Debbie) Craig & Deena Slinkard both of Independence, MO; and 7 grandchildren: David Jr. (Anna), Emily (Vince), Melissa (Mike), Destiny (Ben), JJ, & Sklyer; great grandchildren: Wren and Ellis and his beloved cat, Max.
