(From Parker Mortuary)Rebekah Louise Hickman, 95 died February 21, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
She was born May 26, 1927 in Princeton, Missouri. Louise was the daughter of Milton and Iris Lafollette of Cainsville, Missouri.
Louise married Warren Hickman on August 24, 1947 in Trenton, Missouri. Louise graduated from Princeton High School in 1945.
Following graduation, she attended Kansas City Beauty Academy and become a licensed beautician. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton, Missouri. Louise and her husband Warren owned and operated Hickman Feed and Elevator in Cainsville, Missouri for several years. She enjoyed working alongside her husband on the farm and in their business. Louise loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Elisha Hickman; one half-brother, George Moss; and one brother, Rex Lafollette.

Louise is survived by her two children, Brenda (Hickman) Rieken and husband Douglas Rieken of Red Oak, Iowa and Michael Hickman and wife Julie Hickman of Carl Junction, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Rieken and Jessica Rieken of Red Oak, Iowa, Desirae (Hickman) Sweet and her husband Joshua Sweet of Joplin, Missouri, Fallon (Hickman) Anawalt and her husband Adam Anawalt of Webb City, MO; and one great-grandson, Rush Ryan Donald Sweet of Joplin, Missouri.
A private graveside service will be held for family and friends at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
