Cindy Mayfield

Cindy Mayfield 55, of Carthage Mo., passed on February 27, 2023 after a long illness.
She was an avid pet lover and cared for multiple pets, occasional strays and sometimes a family of raccoons or opossums that frequented her front porch.

She married Mark Mayfield on January 12, 1992 in Carthage Mo. She loved traveling with Mark while he was driving trucks across country. Camping was one of her favorite things to do. Walking in nature was a pass time that she enjoyed with many friends and family, occasionally scaring someone along the way. Her humor and personality was one of best attributes. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford & Peggy Jennings. A sister Linda Jennings all of Carthage Mo. A brother Donald Jennings of Fayetteville, Ar.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Mayfield of 31 years. Three brothers, Bob Jennings and wife Kelley of Republic, Mo. Randy Jennings and wife Robin of Carthage Mo. Ronald Jennings of Joplin, Mo. One sister, Janice Osterfeld and husband Le of Garfield, Ar. Multiple nieces & nephews.
