(From Parker Mortuary)Danny Eugene Allen, age 67, Carterville, Missouri passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at his home after a sudden illness.
Danny was born July 27, 1955 in Joplin, son of the late Ray L. Reynolds and Velma (Harper) Reynolds. He grew up in Joplin and graduated from Memorial High School before joining the United States Marines Corp where he served in Vietnam for some time.
He returned to Joplin and began his career as a truck driver, driving for several different companies in the Four State area. He loved to spend time with family and was always wanting to go fishing. He will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include his children, Clinton Allen and wife Kelsey of Carl Junction, Uriah Allen of Joplin, William “Billy” Allen of Lawton, OK, and Cassie Lund and husband William of Joplin; 13 grandchildren; several sisters, brothers, and nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
