(From Knell Mortuary)Grace Medora Layten, 93, Carthage, Mo, passed away early Wednesday, March 2, 2023, at Carthage Health and Rehab. Grace was born on July 27, 1929, in Sarcoxie, Mo to the late Harry and Effie (Mitchell) Cleveland.
Grace was a homemaker, a Christian, enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her children, Joyce Goodpasture, Webb City, Mo, and Gerald Yeager, Wyandotte, Ok; one brother; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janice McKee; and eight brothers, and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Monday March 6, 2023 at the Knell Mortuary. The family suggests contributions to the Carthage Health and Rehab Library in care of the mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
