(From Clark Funeral Home)Kimberly Ann “Kim” VanPelt, age 51, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 7:04 p.m. on Friday, March 3, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born September 11, 1971, in Albany, New York, to Joseph Coletti and Pricilla Cunningham.
Kim grew up in New York, graduating from Albany High School. She attended the College of St. Rose in Albany, where she took classes in Sociology.
On March 27, 2000, she married the love of her life, David Van Pelt, in Mesa, Arizona. They resided in Arizona and in 2015, moved to the Neosho area. Kim worked at Freeman Hospital in Neosho as a cook. She loved taking road trips with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her beloved husband, David; two children, Mark Van Pelt and his significant other, Lacey, Theresa Crews, and her husband, Jacob; three stepchildren, Daniel, Scott, and Vesta Christine Insam and her husband, Rene; two adopted children, Faye and Jamie Mathis; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister Lisa Gustin and her husband, James and a host of brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, with burial at Gibson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the funeral home.
