Born on March 9, 1979, in Joplin, Missouri, Angela's life was a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. She departed this world in the comfort of her home in Oronogo, Missouri, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories of a life well-lived.
Raised in Oronogo, Angela was a graduate of Webb City High School, class of 1997.

Angela's professional journey was marked by nearly two decades of compassionate work as a medical assistant for Dr. Russell Kennedy, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her warmth and dedication. Angela attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Joplin.
Family was the heart of Angela's world. She is survived by her loving husband, George Triplett, and their blended family of five children: Drew Hodson, Shilynn Hodson, Jasmine Triplett, Elijah Triplett, I, and George Jaden Triplett. Angela's joy was multiplied by her five grandchildren: Paris Powell, Elijah Triplett, II, Pierre Triplett, Aalyah Triplett, and Huxley Greek, with the anticipation of welcoming the sixth. Her father, Rod Hodson, her sister, Julie Cartright, and brother-in-law, Billy, also survive her.

Angela's mother, Jeanine Hodson, preceded her in death, and she is now reunited with her in eternal peace. Angela's faithful dog, Blue, will miss her deeply, as will all who knew her.
Angela's interests were as vibrant and diverse as her personality. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, and her enthusiasm on game days was infectious. Her love for the sitcom "Roseanne" often filled her home with laughter, and her passion for traveling created a tapestry of memories that her family will cherish forever. Above all, Angela's greatest joy was found in the simple moments spent with her loved ones. She approached life with a gentle heart and a spirit that refused to be dampened, even in the face of life's greatest challenges.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the chapel of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. George Triplett officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Webb City. Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Blaise Williams, Gentry Adams, Jeremy Mann, Jaxson Cartright, Carlos Martinez, Johnathan Draper, Jaydan Draper and Charles Davis, III. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home in Webb City, Missouri.
