(From Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home)Shirley Nadine Rhea, 84, of Monett was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday March 21, 2024 surrounded by family while at her home in Monett, Missouri. She was born in Purdy, Missouri on July 15, 1939; the daughter of the late Chester and Eula (Mullins) Henderson. She was united in marriage on December 21, 1956 to Carrol Chester Rhea; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2009.
She was a home daycare provider before she retired and a member of the House of Prayer in Monett, Missouri.
Shirley is survived by two sons: Rocky Rhea of Monett, Missouri and Jonathan Rhea and his wife Sarah of West Monroe, Louisiana; one daughter Sara Parrigon and her husband Joe of Wentworth, Missouri; and four grandchildren: Kole, Jack, Macie and Landen.
She was preceded in death by both her parents: Chester and Eula; her husband Carrol and three brothers: Phillip, Richard and Paul Henderson.
Visitation for Shirley is being held on Tuesday March 26, 2024 from 2:00p.m. to 3:00p.m. at the House of Prayer in Monett, Missouri. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation on Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 3:00p.m. at the House of Prayer in Monett, Missouri. Burial next to her husband will follow services at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri.
