(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Paula Sue Kleine, age 59 of Joplin, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:29 AM following an illness.
Paula was born in Joplin, MO on September 2, 1964 to Mary Ruth Warren and Charles Kleine. She graduated from Webb City High School in the early 1980's. As a lifelong resident of the four-state area, she worked as an LPN in several nursing homes throughout the area.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristen Sherwood (husband, Thomas) of Joplin; one brother, Brent Warren of Republic, MO; and one sister, Pam Strickland of Carthage, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary Ruth; as well as two special dogs, Maxx and Sheba.
