(From Ozark Funeral Home)Judith Ann Billings was born in Medford, Oregon on August 4th, 1946 and passed away in her home in Noel, Missouri on February 27th, 2024.
She was preceded by her father Victor Onstad, mother Mildred Onstad, and beloved husband James Lee Billings.
She is survived by her children: son Larry Zuckeman and his wife Natividad Zuckerman; daughter Alisa Martinez and her husband Allen “Marty” Martinez; son Daniel Zuckerman; son Bud Price; daughter Elizabeth Snowden and her partner Martin Lehmann; and daughter Jamie Billings; her grandchildren Megan Zuckerman, Nicole Weatherall and her husband Adam Weatherall, Jeffrey Martinez, Joshua Martinez, Teceira Perez and her husband Trevor Perez, and Casey Snowden and his partner Max; and her great grandchildren Pixel, Amaya, Fox, and Charley. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love and care of Bud and Jamie.
From her own words Judy was a mother, widow, and friend to everybody. She loved music, art, and coffee.
Judy admired all things beautiful. This sparked her love of drawing and painting which she was extraordinarily gifted.
She enjoyed decorating her home inside and out. To walk into Judy’s house was to be greeted by smells of home cooking, coffee, Victorian wallpaper, a gallery of her paintings, photographs of her family, and hugs. She always dressed elegantly and carried an air of romance about her.
One of her favorite hobbies was genealogy. She enjoyed finding new family ties and visiting cousins that she met along her journey into the past.
Faith was incredibly important to Judy and she aspired to live her life as a devout Christian. She attributed her greatest accomplishments and strength to her belief in God. One of those accomplishments was celebrating 32 years of sobriety this past January.
Services for Judy will be held April 1, 2024 at the Seventh Day Adventist church in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas at 12:00pm.
