(From Messinger Mortuary)Jean Ann Conboy, 77 of Scottsdale, AZ died of Parkinson's on March 6th, 2024.
She was born in Joplin in 1946 to Joe and Mary Jones and was one of six children. Jean attended McAuley High School then Joplin Senior High before studying social work at Kansas State Teachers - Pittsburg, KS, and then a career in long term care.
Jean was preceded in death by her brothers Bill, Jim and John Jones, and is survived by her sister's Velma Carson and Mary Louise Schwartz.
Jean's only daughter Nicole and her husband Patrick and their two daughters reside in Scottsdale. The were all able to live near each other the past 4 years.
Her life was filled with travel, adventure and service. She was an avid hiker and balloonist and loved to explore every city she ever lived in. Albuquerque was her home for over 30 years, the place she adored and where she will be laid to rest.
