Bonnie Neal

Bonnie Louis Neal, 95-year-old resident of Vinita, passed away early Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Saint Francis Vinita Hospital. She was born in Vinita to Obe and Lula Bell (Jenkins) Hayes. 

Bonnie was united in marriage to Harold C. Neal on May 26, 1946, in Miami at the 2nd Baptist Church. 

Harold was a well-known area Baptist Minister, and Bonnie was the ultimate pastor's wife. They ministered at many churches in northeast Oklahoma and as well as in Seneca, Missouri








Harold preceded her in death in 2012. Bonnie was currently a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Vinita. She enjoyed her flowers, gardening, reading, genealogy, and was immensely proud of her native American heritage.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold, a son, Harold Cletus "Clete" Neal in 2016, granddaughter, Stacy Dawn Neal Wade, three brothers, Ruford, Oren, and Jimmie "JD" Hayes, sister, Virginia Juanita Henley, nieces, Dana Aldridge, Ollie Rutherford, Eva Scofield, and a nephew, John Rhoten.

The family includes her children, Teresa Jeanen Huen and husband Marvan of Claremore, Gralena Jane Neal of the home, Dean Evert Neal and wife Shirley of Neosho, Curtis Narvin Neal and wife Brenda of Vinita, daughter in law, Patsy Neal of Claremore, grandchildren, Brandon Neal of Seneca, MO, Nathen Neal of Vinita, Kelly Reavis of Allen, TX, Isaac Duncan of Joplin, MO, great-grandchildren, Dylan and Dallas Rogers of Coffeyville, KS, Nevaeh Neal of Seneca, Eian and Bayley Neal of Vinita, Logan and Lakin Duncan of Joplin, MO, nieces, Laveta Rakes of Seneca, MO, Donna Anderson of Bradenton, FL, Jana Stevens of Joplin, MO, Susie Krusemark of Seneca, MO, Jacci Hayes, nephews, Michael Hayes and Jerry Hayes, numerous other relatives and friends.








The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.

The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel, Pastor Skip McClain will officiate.
