(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Howard Dale Cheek, age 78, of Webb City, Missouri, passed away on March 23, 2024.
Howard was born on November 10, 1945 in Joplin, MO to his parents Ernest and Flora (Kunkle) Cheek.
He was an Army veteran and served a tour in Vietnam. Howard was lifetime resident of the Webb City area and retired from FAG Bearing after over 20 years of service.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Virgie Drake and Dorothy Drew, and one brother, Homer Cheek.
Howard is survived by his only daughter, Lee Ann Mecomber (husband Jeff), one grandchild, and 3 great grandchildren.
A Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Monday, April 1st, 2024 at Mason-Woodard Mortuary, 3701 E 7th, Joplin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
